We visited the Galleria dell'Accademia in April 2018 and bought our tickets online in advance wth the skip-the-line option, but the purchase was made from a desktop computer. To our big surprise, there was no line at all, unlike the Basilica di San Marco or the Palazzo Ducale, so that purchase in advance was totally unnecessary!
