Federal prosecutors have asked a court to reconsider its decision to allow former Minnesota Sen. Justin Eichorn to leave jail, citing concerns that the ex-public official lied to authorities after being charged in an underage sex sting.

The wife of former Minnesota Senator Justin Eichorn has filed for divorce, after the resigned lawmaker was arrested last week, accused of trying to hire a teen prostitute.

This comes after Eichorn was federally charged last Wednesday after he allegedly solicited sex from a detective posing as a 17-year-old girl online.
