Sofia Rodas, 35, has been charged with first-degree murder and tampering with evidence in the death of US Army Pfc. Katia Dueñas Aguilar, 23, the Clarksville Police Department said in a news release.

The autopsy report was recently released for Katia Duenas-Aguilar, 23, a decorated Fort Campbell soldier found dead in an apparent homicide in her home in May.

"As Pfc. Katia Dueñas Aguilar is laid to rest in her hometown of Mesquite, Texas., tomorrow, we again express our deepest sympathies to her family and all those who loved her,” the statement read.
