A possible tornado touched down in central Florida early Monday, causing a house to collapse and tearing past a local television news station as it broadcast live on the air, but no injuries were reported.

The National Weather Service says the tornado that touched down north of Orlando and demolished a house in Seminole County Monday morning reached an EF-2 with winds as high as 115 miles per hour. Meteorologist Will Ulrich says forecasters spotted the thunderstorm showing signs of circulation as soon as it moved out of the Gulf.

Aerial video shows the destruction left by an EF-2 tornado in Longwood, Florida on March 10, about 20 minutes from Orlando. The tornado destroyed at least two homes and caused widespread damage in the Seminole County neighborhood.

A confirmed tornado was spotted in Lake Mary and Sanford, Florida, north of Orlando. FOX 35 Orlando reports the tornado moved across I-4 possibly damaging their studio in Lake Mary. The Tornado-warned storm continues to move to the east toward the coast on Monday morning.

An EF-2 tornado was confirmed to have touched down north of Orlando, along Interstate 4, on Monday, according to NBC affiliate WESH.
