Mayor Cherelle Parker said five people are still hospitalized following a fatal medical jet crash in Northeast Philadelphia, three of whom are in critical condition.

A medical transport jet with a child patient, her mother and four others aboard crashed into a Philadelphia neighborhood shortly after takeoff Friday evening, exploding in a fireball that engulfed several homes.

The recording device was a critical piece of the aircraft that investigators were searching for. It will be sent to a lab in Washington, D.C., for evaluation.
