Sony debuted its Bravia Theater line of soundbars and speakers, ditching its confusing product names in the process. The initial group consisted of the flagship Bar 9, Bar 8, Bravia Quad speaker set and a Theater U neck speaker.

The latest additions to Sony’s home theater audio range also include updates to its optional extra subwoofer and rear speaker series.

Last month, we got a chance to check out Sony’s new home theater soundbar offerings, which are officially being unveiled today. The BRAVIA Theater Bar 6 and BRAVIA Theater System 6 offer more affordable options than the company’s current BRAVIA Theater Bar 8 and Bar 9 as well as a simpler set-up.
