The California-based surf company Lost contends co-founder Matt Biolos, an acclaimed board shaper, has used the “Mayhem” mark for decades and that Lady Gaga’s new album and tour is using a nearly identical logo.

Lady Gaga’s attorney called the lawsuit “baseless.” The singer released her new record and announced a tour earlier this month.
