Issues with AutoCAD 2022 have led Microsoft to block the Windows 11 24H2 on PCs with that version of the technical design tool.

Microsoft has removed a compatibility hold that prevented some AutoCAD users from installing the Windows 11 2024 Update due to launch and crash issues.

It’s released open source 3D CAD files of the laptop, so users can start their own community projects, and even potentially 3D print a full laptop.
