The battery works using the so-called anomalous Josephson effect. In a normal Josephson junction, a superconducting current flows whenever there is a phase difference between two ends of the junction.

The phase portion of the plot will be the phase difference between the same terminals. In addition, as in the previous example, all other graphs of Equation 1 are obtainable.
