A single ticket sold in the city of Petal hit the jackpot, winning $10 million after matching all six numbers in the Double Play drawing Monday, Jan. 10, according to Powerball. The lucky player bought the ticket at the Petal Food Mart, beating odds of 1-in-292,201,338 to snag the top prize, the Mississippi Lottery said in a news release.

Nearly 350,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $150,000, the lottery said. The Powerball jackpot was last won Saturday, Jan. 18, when an Oregon player hit the $328.5 million grand prize, lottery officials said.
