ST. LOUIS — The City of St. Louis joined Toronto as one of only two major North American cities to raise the red, black and green Pan-African flag in recognition of Black History Month.

Both José Garza and Hayveyah McGowan combined their creative talents to put a modern flair on the flag. According to the press release, the logo points forward towards the future of St. Louis County.
