April 16 is unofficially dubbed as Wawa Day, marking the date of its first store opening in 1964 in Folsom, Pennsylvania. Customers can get a free hot coffee of any size all day at any Wawa location.

In celebration of its 61st anniversary and the opening of its first location in Ohio, Wawa, the iconic chain of convenience stores and gas stations now also making its way through Central Pa.

Wawa opened its first Ohio store in Liberty Township on Wednesday. The store offers a wide variety of customizable food and drinks, from hoagies and coffee to breakfast bowls and matcha tea.
