A woman who said she was sexually abused as a child by Gateway Church founder Robert Morris has sued him and the church, alleging she was defamed

Gateway Church and founder Robert Morris have been sued by the woman who accused the pastor of sexual abuse. The lawsuit was filed this week in a Dallas County District court accusing Morris and those who allegedly knew about his alleged sexual acts with a 12-year-old girl of defamation,

Cindy Clemishire accused Robert Morris of sexually abusing her when she was a child — claims he referred to as a "inappropriate relationship with a young lady." Clemishire is suing Morris and Gateway Church for defamation her when she went public with her claims.
