Kevin Michael Costner was born on January 18, 1955, in Lynwood, California. He is the son of a power company employee, and his father’s job necessitated a number of moves during Costner’s youth.

In hindsight, it would have been the wiser move for Costner to take Air Force One himself; instead, he starred in and directed the post-apocalyptic drama The Postman.

A stunt performer filed a lawsuit against Kevin Costner and the producers of "Horizon 2." The complaint says the stunt woman was subjected to a "violent unscripted" rape scene directed by Costner.

In 1997, Williams made her film debut in The Postman which also starred Kevin Costner. One year later, Williams found herself working with Bill Murray in Rushmore.
