Amazon Web Services Sébastien Stormacq wrote in a blog post for Amazon that many AWS customers don't use cloud computing because of a lack of trained IT professionals.

In June, AWS announced it will open the doors of two new certifications starting in August. In addition, Amazon is offering cloud-computing skills training and other free online courses.

As part of Thursday’s announcement, the company also said it will add around 60 free, digital cloud computing training and certification courses to Amazon.com.

The new skills centers comes nearly two years after Amazon’s pledge to help 29 million IT workers around the world grow their cloud computing skills with free skills training by 2025.
