One unidentified victim was shot and taken to the hospital by paramedics, police said. As of 3 p.m., the victim was still alive and expected to survive.

One person was taken to a hospital after an overnight crash involving a police officer, the Denver Police Department reported early Sunday morning.

Officials didn't immediately say who was at fault, who ended up in the hospital, or the extent of anyone's injuries, but asked people to expect delays and avoid the area of that crash.
