Winnipeg’s Scott Arniel was second and Montreal’s Martin St. Louis a distant third. In his second season running an NHL bench, Carbery guided Washington to first place in the Eastern Conference.

The NHL says Carbery received 81 first-place votes among the 103 ballots cast for 464 voting points, followed by Scott Arniel of the Winnipeg Jets and Martin St. Louis of the Montreal Canadiens.
