Jul 10, 2007 · Needing some new or good used 16" dually wheels (8 hole) for a C30, and am wondering if those that came on Fords and Dodges - even up to the present - will fit my 1972. In the mid-90's I bought some "take offs" from a new truck and used them just fine on another C30, but do not remember if they came from a Chev/GM or one of the other makes.

Jan 8, 2017 · The truck started out as a 72 C30 with the narrow dually rear. It was a wrecker all it's life. Now it has a Dana 70HD with a 4.10. Most importantly, an 8' bed with proper looking flares. They came from a 67 stepside.

May 1, 2017 · Hi everyeone, I'm looking into buying a 1970 C30 dually. Currently it doesn't have a bed of any kind (just the frame), and I'm thinking of what bed to put on it, and if the options differ from other trucks of the era. Not sure how dumb this sounds, but I kind of want to get a C10 stepside bed for it (no fenders, obviously).

Sep 21, 2012 · I just picked up a 71 C30 dually tow truck. I'm convirting it to a flat bed daily driver. Some of my plans include an 8-10 lug big rig conversion with air ride. A cummins 12valve with stacks and NV4500 5 speed. I'm looking at using American force adapters for the big rig convirsion but they only offer them from '73 on.
