The EP glider Q12 is the new version of our very successful Q10 and its newer versions. The Q10 was designed such, that the model was to be as lightweight as possible. When we designed the foam successors of the Q10, we took use from our long-years experience with the DLG models.

Mar 12, 2017 · I got my Q12x 2 weeks ago and have just had the maiden flight. I was looking for a light electric glider, for thermal and the occasional slopeflying in very light winds. + easy transportation. The Q12x seems to fit the bill perfectly! Components: 6x Ripmax ds100 ( Dymond D47), 4.7gr servos, no BEC, direct to battery 7.4v

Mar 31, 2014 · According to Horejsi, the Q12 wing is different from the Q11, but doesn't say in what way. Perhaps the airfoil. The Q12 wing is listed as AG 40, 41, 42, 43; the Q11 as AG 44-45-46. From a build perspective the big difference with the Q12X is the pod.

The EP glider Q12X is the competiton version of our successful Q12. It is supposed to be used as competition-grade model for the class of "small outrunners", which is flown in many countries.

Jul 2, 2023 · What I have read about the Q12, and Horejsi models in general, seems to be generally positive. I presently fly two Topmodel CZ models and find them to have a good value/quality ratio. I am considering their Astra as a cheaper alternative to the Q12.

Horejsi's Q12X motorglider is a lighter version of the Q12, with a Kevlar/carbon composite nose cone. The tail servos are located under the wing. The Q12X is the fruit of long experience as a manufacturer of DLG (hand-launched) models.
