Dec 23, 2019 · There does not seem to be a large community for the sea hare, so let's start one. Let me introduce Bloberta, the Dolabella Auricularia or wedge sea hare. She ( I have no idea of the sex) absolutely devores algae. Suprisingly her tank mates let her be. I often move her from my DT to my refugium to control algae below.

May 30, 2023 · Anyway i had this dolabella sea hare for about a month now, came back from a week long vacation and found it dead. Very recently dead as it had not begun to decay. My tank has an extreme gha issue (assuming from overfeeding) so in the last two months I ONLY feed my two fish and the corals get leftover scraps of what the fish don't eat.

Feb 7, 2024 · I got a sea hare to eat green hair algae. He's eaten most of it in a month. I'm planning on removing it, but I think it is cool looking so I want to keep it. Will they eat any prepared food so it won't die. If they don't, I will return it.
