On the THX Vimeo page and DVD releases starting in 2005, such as Toy Story 2 Special Edition, the logo was remastered slightly. As a result, the black screen that reads "The Audience is Listening" is replaced with the THX website URL, and the "LUCASFILM LTD."

Dec 19, 2000 · These are the logo videos for THX used on PIXAR DVD's in released shortly after 2000. These are raw rips of the Videos (codecs not changed in any way) inserted into a MKV (Matroska) container. Both progressive MPEG2 video with Dolby Digital surround sound. One is 4:3 and the other is 16:9 though.

THX-certified DVD/VHS releases (also known as DVD/VHS releases to use the THX logo) are fictional discs or tapes that would release to be digitally mastered by THX.

On four Lionsgate DVDs, THX made a special logo (that converged with the Lionsgate logo) where the 2005/06 Lionsgate logo would play as usual, then only to zoom out at the end to the THX logo (with the sounds fading in and out accordingly), with the THX then zooming out to reveal the DVD's menu.
