Touhou World Cup (TWC) is an annual international Touhou shooting game competition, first held in 2020 and held every year since. It is organised by the Touhou gameplay community worldwide.

Feb 7, 2023 · The Touhou World Cup (東方ワールドカップ/东方世界杯) is an annual international Touhou Project competition focused around the main-series games. Teams of three from Japan, China and the West at large fight against each other in scoring or survival competitions on lunatic and extra mode.

The second edition of the Touhou World Cup was announced on January 3rd, 2021, and features the same three teams as the previous edition: Team China, Team Japan, and Team West.

For every match, each player can earn points for their team: In 2-team matches, the first place will gain 2 points and second place will gain 1 point. If multiple players have the same TWCScore at the end of a match, they are considered tied and their points will be split equally.

ZUN’s game release schedule since UFO seems to be a new mainline game every 2 years, so let’s hope we see Touhou 18 in 2021! I know it's wishful thinking but I hope we get Mima back. ZUN make it happen please!

In Stage 3 you meet the guard of the checkpoint to hell, Kutaka, who tests your strength to see if you won't be overwhelmed by hell, where the very wind is oppressive.
