I switched the sim cards between the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Pro, but find the Sim tray on the iPad Pro to be difficult to pop-out. I have discovered that I can just log onto my AT&T account, in the data setting, and can switch the active account from one device to the other.

Dec 1, 2015 · I just bought an IPAD Air 2 from Verizon and agreed to a two year contract. It just arrived with a "pre-inserted Verizon Wireless SIM" card. The salesperson at the Apple store told me IPAD's were no longer "carrier specific". Does anybody know if the Apple SIM card is still in the device and accessible for use with participating carriers e.g. AT&T?

I was notified by Speedtalk Mobile that as of July 1 "your current 3G/2G cellphone will no longer be working on our network or any network in the U.S." Speedtalk. tech support said "Please note SpeedTalk SIM card will work in any unlocked 4G GSM device as long as you have 4G coverage in your area."
