Jul 30, 2010 · I had a 82 YZ 490, and it's rated as my all time worst bike as well. Oddly enough, I'd love to find a 84 YZ 490 to race around here in the Ultima class. The 82 was heavy, impossible to jet, poor handling and had terrible rear suspension that can't be fixed.
