Jan 30, 2019 · Kahu is a device that is installed, and the fee, whatever it was, is for the service. Once the term that is on the contract expires, and you do not renew, the Kahu will not automatically bill or anything, and you will have no ability to use Kahu from the app.

Dec 18, 2021 · Kahu was a contributing factor for me in leaving the industry. It is a bad product that I refused to sell. It will drain your battery and provide terrible service for you. My recommendation is consider the money you’ve paid as a markup for getting the car you like, go to a third party mechanic and have them rip it out for you.

Feb 6, 2020 · Well, I started this morning by calling Kahu, and they weren’t willing to have any discussion regarding return or refund of any kind. Clearly they are in the business of servicing the dealer, not the end customer. I contacted my dealer and described the situation.

I contacted kahu about one of their techs removing it. I think the cost is like $100 for them to take it out. I decided to take it out myself. Super easy. They didn’t splice it in. They used the OBD2 adapter. So all I had to do was unhook the OBD2 port from its bracket because it was the actual tracker OBD2 cable.
