Jul 5, 2018 · It´s not the format as in 4:3/16:9 Premiere Pro complains about. The format Premiere Pro complains about is if you for example try to feed Premiere Pro with a HDV stream while Premiere Pro expects a DV stream or vice versa. Go to Edit > Preferences > Device Control and click on Options and make sure that it matches what you are trying to capture.

Jun 11, 2018 · PR CC 2017 (and PR CS6) shows .dv in media browser as okay, but when I try to import the only .dv file I have, it is damaged. 2018.1.1 does not even show .dv as allowed. The PR allowed formats (last updated early April this year) does still list .dv, but it appears out of date. Can staff indicate whether .dv is a deprecated (32 bit) QT format?
