Today I introduced my Private Member’s Bill: the Ending Sentence Reductions for Sexual Predators Act. This bill will ensure sexual predators face consecutive sentences for each crime—no more “stacking” offences to walk away with lighter punishments. Every crime deserves its own penalty. Every victim deserves recognition. After a decade of Liberal policies putting criminals first, it’s time to put victims ahead of predators. Sexual predators should never get reduced sentences. Never.
